This is a national-level quiz competition related to HVAC&R. The competition is held in several rounds. The first stage is in December at the regional level.

This competition focuses on research projects. A few core ideas are provided, and students are asked to develop products based on them. SRPG offers students funding, mentorship, and resources to conduct research on HVAC&R topics.
National Students Design Competition

Released: February 12, 2014.
This competition challenges students to develop HVAC systems for corporate buildings, such as shopping malls and offices. It provides an opportunity to work on practical projects and develop new skills.
Hackathon

Hackathon

Released: August 19, 2014.
Students brainstorm ideas and develop innovative solutions for pre-decided problem sets. The problem theme changes every year; last year it focused on using solar energy in refrigeration.

This event initiated a narrative series for BTS and explored the complexities of youth. The album included tracks like "I Need U" and "Dope."
REFCOLD-HACKATHON

ISHRAE's first event of the calendar year, the Refcold-23 Hackathon is a student-led event aimed at promoting innovation in HVAC&R to solve agricultural problems. Winners receive incubation benefits of ₹1,00,000. Tentatively held in June-July.

Solar Decathlon India is an annual, 9-month-long challenge for undergraduate and postgraduate students to combat climate change by designing net-zero energy and climate-resilient building solutions.
RACON

This competition encourages students to engage in professions crucial for ensuring a sustainable future for Earth. Participants gain opportunities to extend their knowledge beyond their engineering curriculum by designing systems.
